Care and maintenance is the key to protecting your stone floor. Rockstar sealing products offer the highest level of protection against water and oil based contaminants. When used in conjunction with regular cleaning your stone surfaces will always look their best.

Underwood Shopping Centre

Rockstar recommend for the sealing of the Tera-Stone at the Underwood shopping centre our Rockstar Dense Stone Sealer. This high performance penertrating sealer is an invisible and breathable sealer suitable for all natural stone ie, Terrazzo.

Once the stone is prepared, cleaned and sealed the following recommended floor management program needs to be implemented.

DAY-TIME CLEANING

1. Mop up spills as quickly as possible, ie, coffee, soft drink,juice, sauce, alcohol and food.
2. Spray soiled areas with diluted Rockstar Heavy Duty Degreaser (HDD)1:20

NIGHT-TIME CLEANING

1. Static dust control mop
2. Using an auto-scrubber mix Rockstar Neutral Cleaner at a ratio of 1:100 in the tank. The machine should be fitted with RED pads. Engage scrubbing machine with vacuum off and pass over floor. Repeat process with vacuum on.
3. Damp mop floor.
4. High speed burnish floor with jackaroo pads.

This care and maintenance program will protect the integrity of the stone and therefore enable the floor to perform at its best.

Rockstar also recommends the Twister Diamond Cleaning System, the latest in pad cleaning/polishing technology.

Water Front City

EXTERNAL BLACK PAVING

1. Using an auto scrubber wash the floor daily. The machine should be fitted with tynex brushes. For daily scrubbing use a Rockstar Neutral Cleaner 1:100.For weekly scrubbing use Rockstar Heavy Duty Degreaser (HDD). Mix HDD in 20 ltre bucket 3:15.Apply to affected areas with stiff broom or doodle bug. Allow to sit on floor for 15min. Then thoroughly scrub floor. Rinse floor.
2. Where tile repair work has taken place, wash affected area with Rockstar Phosphoric acid 1:5. Scrub area and remove. Rinse thoroughly.

EXTERNAL SADLER STONE

Scrub and wash floor daily using Rockstar HDD 1:15. Mixing with hot water is preferable. Apply to floor and agitate with stiff broom or doodle bug Scrape off any food stuff etc. Mop up and rinse thoroughly.

WHITE TERRAZZO

Use Twister Diamond Cleaning System to  restore appearance of terrazzo.The Twister system will remove all black grime,water marks and reinstate hone or polish.

DAILY CLEANING

Equipment Required

Doodle bug with black pad, Rockstar Stone Cleaner Plus, mop and bucket.

Procedure

1. Mix up detergent 100mil: 20ltre fresh water
2. Using doodle-bug scrub affected areas ie, in front of elevators, security desk, front and rear doors and along side cafe
3. Remove slurry with mop
4. Thoroughly rinse with fresh water

NIGHTLY CLEANING

Equipment Required

Auto-scrubbing machine, or swing machine (poli-vac) with black pads, Rockstar Neutral Cleaner and Rockstar Heavy Duty Degreaser(HDD)

Procedure

1. Mix Rockstar Neutral Cleaner at ratio 1:100 in auto scrubbing tank. Release detergent and commence scrubbing. After 2 passes engage vacuum. 
2. Use Rockstar HDD where necessary
3. Always use fresh water in the auto-scrubber, never recycle used water.

DAY-TIME CLEANING

1. Mop up spills as quickley possible,ie coffee,soft drink,,juice,sauce,alcohol and food
2. Spray soiled areas with diluted Rockstar Heavy Duty Degreaser (HDD) 1:10.

NIGHT-TIME CLEANING

1. In very heavy traffic areas ie,in front of the food van,lay down Rockstar HDD 50:50 Mixed with hot water.Allow to sit on floor for a min of 15 min.Then scrub well,remove and rinse thoroughly.
2. Mix Rockstar Neutral Cleaner 1:100 in auto-scrubber,fitted with hard brushes, medium pressure and work the floor.
3. Give more attention to traffic areas ie, work machine very slowly over these areas. Lay down Rockstar HDD If neccessary.
4. Attention to detail ie edges. Periodically use doodle-bug with emerald pad or swing machine with tynex brush in conjunction with Rockstar HDD to clean build up around edges.
5. Stairs.Periodically use a high pressure,hot water blaster to thoroughly clean build up on and around stairs and stair rises.

CHINESE BEIGE GRANITE

1. Protect any delicate surfaces
2. Lay down Rockstar Phosphoric Acid at the appropriate ratio.Allow to sit for 5-10 min
3. Scrub floor. Remove slurry
4. Neutralise floor with Rockstar Neutral Cleaner
5. Repeat process if necessary
6. Apply 2 coats Rockstar Dense Stone Sealer
